Championship Promotion: Can Sheff Utd revive their hopes on Good Friday?
Leeds United and Burnley are Frontrunners for promotion now. Sheffield United suffered a disastrous week and lost three games on spin. They now find five points that are sparse of the two best with only four games left to play.
All they can do is win on Friday, and hope the other two will slip up.
The main promotion games: Watford vs Burnley (15:00), Sheff UTD vs Cardiff (5.30 pm), Oxford vs Leeds (20:00)
Championship Play-Offs: Bristol City in Control
It looks like two from five to the last play-off sites this season. Bristol City (64 points) and Coventry (63 points) are currently in control, but West Brom, Middlesbrough and Millwall (all 60 points) are all behind them.
No doubt what the prominent game is that Coventry faces West Brom. Meanwhile, Bristol City hosts Sunderland in what could prove to be a clothing test for a semi -final. Still a long way to go, mind.
The most important play-off games (all at 3pm): Blackburn vs Millwall, Bristol City VS Sunderland, Coventry VS West Brom, Middlesbrough vs Plymouth.
Championship Relegation: Plymouth still dreaming of survival
Plymouth grabbed a huge victory over Sheffield United last weekend to keep their slim hope of surviving alive. They remain the bottom, just below Luton on target difference, and two points behind Cardiff in 22 ..
Realistically, everyone up to Stoke City will still feel a little uneasy on their way into a crunchy Easter weekend. Derby and Luton, who meet in Pride Park, could prove to be a crucial fixture in the tremor.
The main relegation games: Derby vs Luton (12.30pm), Middlesbrough vs Plymouth (15:00), Norwich vs Portsmouth (15:00), Stoke vs Wed (at.
League One -Promotion: Wrexham or Wycombe?
Birmingham is masters, but it’s still left to see who will join them in second place. Wrexham’s blip over the weekend Wycombe allowed back in the crisis. Just one point separates them while Wycombe has a slightly better target difference.
Stockport and Charlton still have Slim Hopes about beating these spots, in case of slip-ups.
The main promotion games (all at 3pm): Bolton vs wycombe, Charlton vs Northampton, Peterborough vs Stockport, Wrexham VS Bristol Rovers
League One Play-Offs: Can Reading Hold on?
Despite all off-Field problems, Reading is in pole position for the final play-off place with four matches to go.
They are at 69 points, while chasing them are Leyton Orient and Bolton (both 66 points), with Huddersfield (64pts) who still hope to fight their way in.
The most important play-off games (all at 3pm): Bolton vs Wycombe, Huddersfield vs Cambridge, Leyton Orient vs Barnsley, Reading vs Lincoln.
League a relegation: Can Burton push on with an unlikely escape?
Burton looked dead and buried at one point this season, but finds out the relegation zone at Easter and still has a game in his hand on all sides below them. It looks like a battle between the breweries and Bristol Rovers to avoid falling in league two.
The main relegation games: Exeter vs Burton (13:00), Wrexham vs. Bristol Rovers (15:00)
League Two promotion: Port Vale appears as favorites
An emphatic form of form of port Vale and they have emerged as favorites for the League Two title. Although they will have to look at as Bradford plays Thursday night against Notts County to see if they will start Good Friday on top.
Walsall, meanwhile, who once looked as if they were throwing against promotion and the trophy, are now in real danger of ending up in the playoffs. Doncaster is at the fourth, level level, but at the back of the target difference.
The main promotion games: Bradford vs Notts County (Thur at.
Liga to play-offs: Can Colchester fight their way in?
It’s still all to play for in the League Two Play-off race, with the pages down to Salford City in 10. Feeling still as if they can push and finish in the top seven.
Colchester, in the meantime, hopes to maintain their good runs of shape and Leapfrog Grimsby in seventh.
The most important play-off games (all at 3pm): AFC Wimbledon vs Chesterfield, Colchester vs Crewe, Grimsby vs Swindon, Salford vs Accrington
League two relegation: Will Carlisle be condemned?
It seems that Morecambe’s 18-year-old stay in EFL comes to an end, with the club seven points adrift. And it seems that Carlisle may well join them in the National League next season. They are six points behind Accrington in 22. With a far worse target difference. Only winner will make from here.
The main relegation games (all at 3pm): Bromley vs morecambe, Carlisle vs Port Vale, Salford vs Accrington.
